Simulation Theory
Escape from the simulation does not guarantee liberation.
Brain-in-a-Vat and Self-as-Software are treated as incompatible architectures and stress-tested separately for internal consistency, escape vectors, and phenomenological predictions.
They converge on one hostile possibility: truth may be accessible yet unsurvivable. A stable system has no obligation to free the processes running inside it.
Recovered findings
Chemical, physical, and memory-based escape vectors fail. Simulated tools cannot break their containing system.
A sentient simulation optimizes for its own stability, not its occupants’ wellbeing or freedom.
Computation is not simulation. Isomorphism to an algorithm does not confirm external substrate.
